Membership Admission Process

All applications and admissions are reviewed and subject to the approval by the Executive Team upon the advice of the Membership Committee. Periodic audits may be performed to ensure compliance. Any violations to the code of ethics or Chapter Mission is an automatic revocation of membership.


Corporate Member

Eligibility Requirements

  • Open to Classical Feng Shui agencies, Classical Feng Shui consultancies or organizations associated with a business license to practice Classical Feng Shui and related disciplines for a minimum of three years.

  • Must satisfy the qualifications of Professional Membership Level (see below).

  • Complete and pass a criminal background check.

  • Corporate Member must pass an internal review of Corporate Member’s Feng Shui education and training background to ensure services offered to the general public are in alignment with the Chapter’s Mission.

  • Must sign and adhere to the Chapter’s Code of Ethics.

Benefits

  • Corporate Member shall be represented by one representative who shall himself or herself meet the qualifications of Professional Membership Level of the Chapter.

  • Corporate Members are eligible to hold office in the Chapter.

  • Corporate Member is entitled to members’ rates to Chapter functions, events, and coordinated training programs and/or continuing education.

  • Corporate Member is entitled to send up to a maximum of 2 representatives to be present at the Chapter’s functions at Corporate Members’ rates.

  • Corporate Member is entitled to exercise one voting right in the affairs of the Chapter.

  • Corporate Member can use the letters or acronym “IFSA – USA Chapter” to be displayed on business website, business cards, and marketing brochures except on training certificates.

  • Corporate Member can use and display the Chapter’s logo on business website, business cards, and marketing brochures except on training certificates. The latter is reserved only to courses and formal training programs endorsed by the IFSA Singapore.

  • Eligible to submit educational articles on any subjects on Chinese Metaphysics, which is featured on the Chapter’s website and newsletter circulation.

  • Corporate Member has priority over sponsorship events, ticket sales, and pre-public announcements.

  • Corporate Member is listed in the Feng Shui Practitioner (Corporate) Directory Listing on the Chapter’s website.

Fee

  • $358 USD per annum or $870 USD for 3 consecutive years.


Professional Member

Eligibility Requirements

  • Open to Classical Feng Shui Professionals with at least two consecutive years’ experience in Feng Shui practice.

  • Complete and pass a criminal background check.

  • Professional Member must pass an internal review of his or her Feng Shui education and training background to ensure services offered to the general public are in alignment with the Chapter’s Mission.

  • Must sign and adhere to the Chapter’s Code of Ethics.

Benefits

  •  Professional Members are entitled to exercise full voting rights in the affairs of the Chapter.

  • Professional Members are eligible to hold office in the Chapter.

  • Professional Member is entitled to members’ rates to Chapter functions, events, and coordinated training programs.

  • Professional Member can use the letters or acronym “IFSA – USA Chapter” to be displayed on business website, business cards, and marketing brochures except on training certificates.

Associate Member

Eligibility Requirements

  • Open to individuals who have been professionally engaged in Classical Feng Shui practice for a minimum period of one year.

  • Complete and pass a criminal background check.

  • Associate Member must pass an internal review of his or her Feng Shui education and training background to ensure services offered to the general public are in alignment with the Chapter’s Mission.

  • Must sign and adhere to the Chapter’s Code of Ethics.

  • Associate Member is entitled to exercise full voting rights in the affairs of the Association.

  • Associate Member is entitled to members’ rates to Chapter functions, events, and coordinated training programs.

  • Associate Member can use the letters or acronym “IFSA – USA Chapter” to be displayed on business website, business cards, and marketing brochures except on training certificates.

  • Associate Member can use and display the Chapter’s logo on business website, business cards, and marketing brochures except on training certificates. The latter is reserved only to courses and formal training program endorsed by IFSA Singapore.

  • $148 per annum or $360 USD for 3 consecutive years.


Student Member

Description

As of January 1, 2019, students who have completed any formal training courses endorsed by the International Feng Shui Association (headquarter) in the U.S. will automatically be enrolled as a Student Member. This level is ideal for non-practicing students or students new to learning Classical Feng Shui but interested in pursuing a career as a Classical Feng Shui Practitioner.

At any point thereafter, if student meets any of the requirements listed above, Student Member may upgrade their membership level and the student membership fee will be applied as a credit towards the new membership level fee.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Open to non-practicing Classical Feng Shui student or students new to learning Classical Feng Shui but interested in pursuing a career as a Classical Feng Shui Practitioner.

Fee

  • $38 per annum.
